About the CPC Center
The Congressional Progressive Caucus Center (the CPC Center) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that identifies and develops solutions to build a more just, equitable, and resilient nation. Our network approach brings together community leaders, organizers, advocates, and policy experts to build people-led, cutting-edge policy.

About the CPC Center Educational Legislative Program

The CPC Center Educational Legislative Fellowship Program provides educational opportunities for people with an interest in public policy and the legislative process. Fellows are generally early to mid-career professionals with substantive experience in policy or advocacy but little to no previous work experience on Capitol Hill. Fellowship placements are in congressional offices in the U.S. House of Representatives.

This Educational Legislative Fellowship is an educational program that will provide exposure to legislative processes and procedures, practical experience with how the House of Representatives works, and opportunities for interaction with constituents and issue stakeholders. To enrich the educational experience, the fellow will join a cohort of other CPC Center Fellows in a program welcome event, as well as networking events and professional development opportunities.

This is a paid, in-person fellowship in Washington, D.C.. The initial term of the fellowship is six months. After the CPC Center completes a mid-term evaluation, the fellow may be invited to extend for an additional six months.

Commitment to Diversity

The CPC Center is an equal opportunity, fair chance employer, committed to building a diverse and inclusive workforce. All qualified applicants will be considered for employment without regard to race, color, creed, national origin, sex, age, disability, marital status, sexual orientation, military status, prior history of arrest or conviction, caregiver status, or other categories protected by law.
