biography

Cat leads the legislative affairs team at the Congressional Progressive Caucus Center and Progressive Caucus Action Fund. She works to demystify the federal government and breaks down developments on Capitol Hill so every community can navigate the legislative process and fight for the solutions they need to thrive. Cat has authored dozens of publications explaining congressional jargon and processes and analyzing key legislation on an array of subjects. Before joining the CPCC and PCAF, she spent nearly a decade working in Congress, most recently as Deputy Chief of Staff and Legislative Director for Congressman Andy Levin (D-MI). Originally from Brooklyn, New York, Cat earned her Bachelor of Arts from George Washington University and now lives in Washington, D.C.
