Education

From pre-K to college, every student deserves access to high quality education.  We are fighting for childcare and pre-kindergarten education for young children, high quality education and talented, supported and well paid teachers in every school and debt free college for all.  Across the country, too many schools face crumbling buildings, understaffed classrooms, teachers forced to teach to the test instead of investing in their students, and discipline that targets children of color and children living with disabilities. 

For college students, tuition is skyrocketing and student debt has reached a record $1.5 trillion.  We must make sure higher education is accessible to every student, not just a privilege for the wealthy few.
